Navimow vs Mammotion: which robot mower brand fits?

Segway Navimow and Mammotion make the two biggest ranges of wire-free robot mowers. Navimow leans on RTK and cameras with lower prices per acre; Mammotion's LUBA range adds LiDAR and an 80% slope rating across the line.

Where they differ

  • Price per acre: the Segway Navimow X430 covers a full acre for $2,499. Mammotion's Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD 3000H covers 0.75 acre for $2,799.
  • Slopes: Navimow's X4 models reach 84% (40°), but its i-series stops at 30–45%. Every LUBA we cover is rated for 80% (38.6°).
  • Navigation: most Navimow models rely on RTK plus cameras; the i215 is its LiDAR option. The LUBA 3 3000 and 5000 combine LiDAR, network RTK and cameras; the LUBA 3 1500 and LUBA mini 2 use LiDAR and cameras only.
  • Range: Navimow goes from $799 for an eighth of an acre to 2.5 acres with the X390. The LUBA models we cover run from $1,799 to $2,799.

Which to pick

Open lawn and a budget: start with Navimow. Steep or tree-lined lawn under an acre: Mammotion's LiDAR models make sense. Large, open properties: the Navimow X450 or X390.
